It's sized for XL hands. The most common one-star complaint on other grip trainers is that they're built for smaller hands and cram your fingers together. TrueGrip is one molded piece shaped to hold a full-size hand in a neutral position, and it works with interlock, overlap and ten-finger grips, whichever you already play.

It fixes the grip half of a slice, which for most golfers is the larger half. A slice is an open clubface relative to your swing path, and your hands set the face, so holding neutral squares it up. It does not change a swing path. If you also come steeply from outside to in, your ball flight will tighten without the curve disappearing completely. And it holds neutral in both directions, so it won't push you past neutral into a hook the way slice-specific trainers do.

Most golfers feel the difference within ten swings. Noticeable ball flight change within one or two range sessions. Full muscle memory in two to four weeks of regular use, with or without it on the club. Twenty swings a day is enough.

No. It's a training aid, so it comes off before you play. It clips on and off in seconds, so most golfers keep one in the bag and put it on for a few swings before the first tee, then pull it off. On dependency, that's rather the point. You wear a brace while something heals, then you take it off. Most golfers need it two or three weeks before the neutral grip feels like their own. It works on every full-swing club, driver through wedge, but not on putters.

Lesson Tee Tested
Most grip trainers are moulded for one hand size and a standard grip, so a good number of my students can't get their hands on them properly. The TrueGrip fits midsize and jumbo grips and works for players with larger hands, which means I can hand it to almost anyone who walks onto my lesson tee.
