Rushed every downswing for years and couldn't feel it. Ten swings with this and I could HEAR it. The whoosh was happening way before the ball. Two weeks later my contact is completely different.

I use it for 5 minutes before every round now. My buddies show up cold and spray their first three drives. I step up loose with my tempo already set. Easiest edge I've ever bought.

I always thought I needed to swing harder. This thing taught me I needed to swing later. Same effort, better contact, and honestly more distance than when I was trying to kill it.

    Description

The Tempo Stick is a flexible, weighted training stick you swing like a golf club. The shaft loads and unloads as you swing, and the whoosh tells you exactly where your speed is arriving. Rush from the top and you'll hear it early, before the ball. Swing in sequence and you'll hear it at the bottom, right where contact happens. No screens, no straps, no drills to memorize. Swing it in the backyard, the garage, or on the range before a round. Right and left-handed.

    Benefits

Feedback you can hear, not a tip to remember. Swing thoughts disappear under pressure. The whoosh doesn't. Every swing tells you instantly whether your speed arrived early or on time.

Fixes the rush at the top. Most bad contact starts with a downswing that starts too fast. The flexible shaft physically can't be rushed, it loads late and forces the smooth transition good ball strikers have.

Speed where it counts. Releasing early spends your speed before the ball. Move the whoosh to the bottom of the swing and the same effort produces more clubhead speed at contact.

A warm-up that actually warms you up. Five minutes before the round sets your rhythm, loosens your swing, and gets your sequence firing. No more spending the front nine finding your tempo.

Reps anywhere, no ball needed. Backyard, garage, hotel room before a golf trip. You don't need a range or a net, the feedback is in the sound, not the ball flight.

    How To Use

    GETTING THE MOST FROM IT

Takes about 5 minutes a day.

    The drill:

    1. Take your normal stance and grip the Tempo Stick like a club
    2. Make a full, smooth swing and listen for the whoosh
    3. Hearing it early, before where the ball would be? You're rushing from the top
    4. Keep swinging until the whoosh happens at the bottom, where contact would be
    5. Ten swings in a row with the whoosh at the bottom, and that's your tempo for the day

Before a round: 10 swings on the first tee. During the week: 20 swings in the backyard. That's the whole program.

    What It Works With

No club needed. No ball needed. No setup needed.

The Tempo Stick IS the club. Pick it up and swing.

✓ Backyard, garage, basement, range, first tee
    ✓ Right and left-handed versions
✓ Works with your grip training. TrueGrip sets your hands, the Tempo Stick sets your timing

✗ Not a hitting tool. You swing it, you don't hit balls with it.

You're rushing the downswing without noticing

From the top of your backswing, your brain wants one thing: hit the ball NOW. So your arms fire first, your speed arrives before the ball, and the clubhead is decelerating by the time it gets there. You can't feel it. It just shows up as thin contact, fat shots, and drives that go nowhere despite a swing that feels fast. More lessons and more swing thoughts don't fix it, because you can't think your way to timing. You have to hear it.

      Swing In Sequence, Every Time

Load, unload, release at the bottom. The Tempo Stick's flexible shaft makes the right sequence something you can hear and repeat, then you take that same rhythm straight to the course.

The Whoosh Told Me In One Swing

"Three lessons and none of them fixed my contact. First swing with this thing I heard the whoosh up near my hands, way before the ball. That was the whole problem, 2 years of thin shots explained by one sound. Two weeks of backyard swings and I'm compressing the ball like never before."

Bought It for My Husband — He's Obsessed

"He watched every tempo video on YouTube and just got worse. Got him this for his birthday. Now I hear that whoosh in the backyard every night after work. He says it's the first time he can actually FEEL what smooth means instead of being told it. He's playing Saturdays relaxed instead of coming home mad."

Every Tour Pro Warms Up With One

"Watch any tour range session, half of them are swinging a flexible stick before they touch a driver. Figured if a warm-up is good enough for guys playing for millions, I could spend thirty bucks. Five minutes before my round and I hit the first fairway loose instead of finding my swing on hole 6."

        First Tee Rush, Gone

"My first swing of the day used to be my worst, all arms, pure adrenaline. Now I do ten Tempo Stick swings by the cart before I tee off. My rhythm is already set before the first shot matters. My front-nine scores have dropped almost 4 strokes."

        FAQs

How quickly will I see results?

You'll hear the feedback on your very first swing, that's the point of the whoosh. Most golfers feel their transition smooth out within the first session, and see it in their contact within 1-2 range sessions.

Do I swing it like my normal club?

Yes. Same stance, same grip, same full swing. The flexible shaft does the teaching. If you rush it, you'll hear the whoosh arrive early. Swing smooth and it arrives at the bottom.

Does it work for left-handed golfers?

Yes. Select "LH" in the dropdown when ordering.

I've tried tempo tips and counting drills. Why is this different?

Tips live in your head, and your head empties out over the ball. The Tempo Stick gives you a physical answer on every swing, you hear exactly where your speed arrived. There's nothing to remember and no way to fool it.

        Can I use it as a pre-round warm-up?

That's half the product. Ten swings before you tee off sets your rhythm and loosens your swing, the same way tour players use a flexible stick on the range before touching a club.

What if it doesn't work for me?

Swing it for 30 days. If your tempo doesn't feel smoother and your contact hasn't improved, email us for a full refund, and keep the stick. We'd rather eat the loss than have an unhappy customer.

"Spent two seasons blaming my backswing. Shortened it, flattened it, filmed it from every angle. Contact never improved. First session with the Tempo Stick, the whoosh was firing halfway down. My backswing was never the problem. I was dumping all my speed before the ball. Six weeks of ten swings a night and my irons finally sound like a golf shot."

"Everyone talks about rushing. I had the opposite problem, my swing was so slow and careful I had no speed anywhere. Steering every shot. The stick taught me smooth doesn't mean slow. Load it, let it go, hear the whoosh at the bottom. Gained real distance without feeling like I'm swinging harder."

"Came back to golf at 42 after 15 years off. My rhythm was just gone, some swings quick, some slow, nothing repeated. Swung this thing in the garage every night for three weeks before I even booked a tee time. First round back I broke 90. My playing partner asked how long I'd been taking lessons."

"Lefty gear is usually an afterthought, so I braced myself. The LH version showed up, felt exactly right, and the feedback works the same no matter which side you swing from. Ten minutes a night on the patio. My transition has never been smoother."

"Three different pros gave me three different tempo cues. Count one-two, pause at the top, slow arms. By the end I was thinking so hard I couldn't swing at all. This stick replaced all of it with one sound. Whoosh at the bottom, good swing. That's the entire lesson, and it's the only one that ever stuck."

"Been playing 30 years and figured tempo trainers were for beginners. Then I noticed my distance quietly shrinking every season and blamed age. Ten swings with this and I heard my release firing way early, probably had been for years. Three weeks in, I've got half a club of distance back. Age wasn't the problem. Timing was."
